Witch Hazel Cleaning Tonic
Witch hazel has long been known to have astringent qualities. You can find the herbal extract on the shelves of your local drugstore. It contains exceptional cleansing, soothing, and healing properties that were originally used by Native Americans.
To make your own witch hazel astringent, combine 1 cup of witch hazel with 2 tablespoons of alcohol and apply it to your skin with a cotton ball. If you’re sensitive to alcohol, you can substitute it with a 1/4 cup of white vinegar.
